Memorial Day weekend 2011

As we usually do we went to Ocean City, Maryland for Memorial Day weekend. This is the summer holiday that we spend with my mom and the girls like the beach as well! It was pretty exciting as this was the first time that Marissa will actually be able to play in the sand. Last year we went twice but the first time she was only 5 months old and the second time she was 7 months old plus very sick so she didn't even leave my mom's house. Anyways, both Rylee and Marissa really enjoyed the beach and fun building sand castles. Unfortunately the ocean water was a little too cold to actually swim so when we got back to my mom's house they played in the kiddie pool instead. We also took the girls to the boardwalk and rode some rides on the pier!
