Photo shot in the backyard

So as Rylee's school picture day was coming up I realized we have yet to make it out to get our annual family pictures which we normally get done around October/November before the holidays get into full swing.  Clearly we are delayed.  With that being noted I decided to put my basic photo taking skills to work and try to get some good (enough) photos of Marissa so when Rylee's school pics I can print some of Marissa to give out as well.  We won't have family ones unless I get fancy with a timer but at least we'll have some kid photos.  Unfortunately I didn't wait long enough so Marissa's hair was still wet, so I'm going to try again another night for better pictures.  Here's what I got tonight. 

Playing at Roof Park

After Rylee's cheerleading practice yesterday, since it was so nice outside we decided to take the girls to the playground at Roof Park where cheer camp is held.  The girls had a lot of fun running around and playing and even Jason did too.  Take a peek...

After we finished playing at this park went home and took a bike ride and ended up at Goldsboro Park where the girls got to play some more.  Needless to say by the end of the day they were exhausted. 

Rylee's cheerleading week 2

So this week I wasn't able to get quite as many good pictures as they had our backs to us, but I got a few.  I did get a couple good ones of the Rylee and Marissa running around on the field playing before her practice.  I was a little saddened today though when Rylee informed me that she didn't want to do cheerleading in the fall :(.  We were waiting until the 2nd week of the camp to see how she was doing and to see if she still wanted to do it or not before we checked with Red Land Midget Football Cheerleading's group to see if it was too late to still register her.  She is doing real good at the cheering and I was pleasantly surprised by that since she tends to be slightly clumsy like me.  But she said she doesn't want to do this any more after this as it is too hard.  Maybe she'll change her mind!  Anyways, some pictures from the 2nd week of cheer camp.  Added some of the ones with Rylee and Marissa playing before hand as well cause Marissa was too cute :)

Easter

The Easter bunny has come to visit the girls and the girls both got their baskets.  We made sure that bunny left baskets that looked identical since the girls are at ages that they have to have the same things.  The upside to Rylee's allergies is that we don't do a lot of candy either so they got more small toys then candy.  After checking out their baskets they then did an egg hunt in the back yard.  This year was the first year that they only searched eggs at our house as Jason had to go to bed early due to work.  Normally they search eggs at our house, then we go to Jason's parents house for lunch and search eggs their as well.  Anyways, here's some pictures from Easter...

Rylee's cheerleading

Rylee had her first day of cheerleading camp today.  We had signed her up for a camp through a group called Eckert Fitness.  It runs for 6 weeks and was actually supposed to start 2 weeks ago but kept getting rained out.  I'm pretty excited about it as cheerleading was something that I enjoyed doing a lot when I was younger.  I'm hoping it is something her and I can share enjoyment over!!  She did tell us that she really liked it afterwards, but it was really cold this morning so I know that was a downside for her.  We'll see if she keeps up an interest in this and then we may sign her up for Midget Football Cheerleading.  Here are some pictures of her 1st day at cheerleading...
