Camping trip to Codorus State Park

We decided that for our last weekend before school starts that we would take a camping trip to Codorus State Park.  We were very glad we did this as there was a lot to do there and we had a ton of fun.  We got in on Friday night and pretty much went straight to bed as I was exhausted.  But on Saturday morning we got up and walked to the pool that also had a zero depth spray ground which the girls loved.  Marissa liked to watch Rylee run through it.  Marissa really had more fun playing on the edge of the pool where she could walk in it and it was about waist depth on her.
After the pool we headed back for lunch and then over to the playground for some playing, which of course the girls thought was the best as well.  Then we went for a little hike/walk on one of the hiking trails.  However we did not make it far as Marissa refused to stay in her stroller and Jason was getting exhausted from carrying her.  Of course, as soon as we got back out on the road and off the trail she fell asleep and we were able to put her back in the stroller.  Where she took a nice little nap though she did not look comfortable.

My sister came over and visited us for dinner and we had a nice campfire that evening.  Lots of fun and made s'mores with the kids.  After winding down and going to bed we were not so pleasantly woke up by an animal outside and when Jason went to check on it found us a skunk under our bunk :(  Clearly we waited for the skunk to leave before we made our move!!!  Then on Sunday we didn't do much except tear down and be sure to get out before the rain!  Lucky for us we did.
