Day 4 of day trips - Science Center

Today was our longest day trip as we went to the Whitaker Science Center.  I'm not really sure that Marissa & Rylee had as much fun as Jason and I, but we all had fun in one way or another.  The girls did really in enjoy the toddler section where it was more like a play area, and of course anything that was extremely hands on.  Here's some of the pictures from the many things we did and saw while we were there!

Day 3 of day trips - Monkey Joe's

Today we took the girls to Chuck E Cheese to start the day.  We got there as soon as they opened and let them play for a little.  Than had lunch at noon.

After having lunch we loaded up and headed back across the river to take the girls to Monkey Joe's.  Rylee loves going here and thanks to her Aunt Steph and Uncle Brian she has been there a few times before.  This is the first time we got to take her and Marissa's first time going at all.  Lots of fun, even for the adults, though unless you were accompanying a child under 4 you weren't supposed to go in :)

Day 2 of day trips - Lake Tobias

So today we took the girls to Lake Tobias, which they loved!  We did both the zoo and safari tour.  Rylee was a little more reserved then Marissa, but I think that still stems back to her experience getting head butted by a billy goat at the Long's Park petting zoo last year.  I think Marissa's favorite part was the petting zoo with all the goats.  You'll see in some of my pictures that she had to touch all of the goats and even kissed a few :)

Day 1 of day trips - Chocolate World

Our vacation started on 7/8/11 and we were planning to go camping and then go to the beach.  However, after getting to the campground on 7/8/11 we found out that my Pap had died so we ended up canceling our original plans and coming home.  Though since the girls were so excited for the vacation we still tried to do some day trips on the days around the funeral and viewing.  Some were just half day trips so we could take care of other things as well, but we still tried to make the week off as happy as possible for the girls as well.

Our first day trip was a 1/2 day one before going to the viewing on Tuesday.  We took the girls to Chocolate World to start the morning off.

We did the Kisses Packaging which was really just Rylee as Marissa wanted nothing to do with it!

Then we also did the Really Big 3D Show.  It was Marissa's first time seeing that and she seemed to enjoy it.  Rylee has seen it before, but didn't seem to remember so she still enjoyed it as well.

After Chocolate World, we went to Chick-fil-a for some lunch and playing.  Marissa and Rylee played so nice and Rylee was such a good big sister.  She really helped Marissa to climb through the tunnels so Marissa could play as well.
