Having fun

As we wait for spring to really get here we've tried finding fun, inexpensive activities. One thing that both girls like is McDonald's play place. Though it may not be the healthiest dinner they burn off the calories as they run all over!! Here are a few of the least blurry shots since they didn't stay still for long.

Spring is on it's way!

Oh how I look forward to the warmer weather and all the things that come with it.  Over the years, I've tried my hand at taking pictures, not so good the majority of the time.  But I enjoy it none the less.  I figured what better way to show way I love the spring/summer time.  My favorite season is truly fall, however, to get there we need to make it through spring and summer which I enjoy a good bit as well.  I just despise the cold winter season and being trapped in the house.  Anyways, spring is on it's way to save my sanity which means more playtime outside for the girls and all the fun things that come with my favorite time of year.  It will soon be camping time and we will be outside most weekends, which means I'll break out the camera again and start trying to be a photographer again :)

Enjoy...

It's been awhile...

Well winter is almost over, thank goodness as I hate the cold and feeling trapped inside, as do the girls. Rylee is going nuts not being able to run and play outside. I think Marissa is too! Rylee is almost 4 1/2 which is so hard to believe and in just a little over a month I'll be registering her for kindergarten, craziness!!!!! Marissa is 15 months though she is sooooo tiny. She just had her checkup and has fallen off the charts for weight (18 lbs, 10 oz, they said about 1st percentile) and she isn't much higher for height (29 1/4 inches, 10th percentile).

We've had a busy winter and holiday season. It seems like the holidays start in September for us now as we had Rylee's 4th bday party in September, followed by Marissa's 1st bday party in October, than turkey day-Jason's bday-nephew's bday in November, Christmas in December, New Year's/brother's bday on the 1st of the year!!! We had the joy (slight sarcasm) of celebrating xmas 3 times again. These pics are from Christmas day. Aunt Christie baked cookies with Rylee and was even brave enough to let Rylee operate the beaters.

Hope everyone is having a great winter and staying warm! Spring is on it's way...
